Yep, I can't believe it our youngest niece has turned 21.She loves owls and had shown me one that she loved. As we were giving her a cheque for her birthday I thought what better way to give it to her than in the pocket of this owl. Think we will do this as a quick class soon.
Her themed colours are red, black and white. This owl is similar to the Hootie Hoo Family.
Pictured behind is a picture of my family that was drawn for us by Terry Denton when my youngest Toby was born nearly 23 years ago. Our children grew up together.
After attending the 21st party Chuck and I decided to treat ourselves to a mini break in Brisbane city.
This is the view from our room. In the photo you can see the Wheel of Brisbane. All lit up at the back of the pic.
Well, going on this is one of the things on my list as I am not thrilled with heights.
Here is Chuck in the que. He's just a little apprehensive.
The view of Brisbane was amazing!
We had a lovely day including wandering around the Queensland Art Gallery Must say I was in heaven! If you have a spare couple of hours just go and wander. You know we all have these fabulous things in our cities and use them so rarely. We get so busy with life we forget to take the time to just enjoy!
