We decided our white shirts were looking a bit tired so thought what can we have as a new uniform. We decided on an apron. That way we would always have our uniform as we would leave them at work.
Here are Lee and I modelling our new uniforms with the lovely Brianna between us. (thanks to Judy S for making them for us) Talk about a rose between 2 thorns. Brianna came to us as a work experience student. What an asset she has been to have in the shop. If all work experience students were promised to be like Brianna we would have them all the time. She worked so hard and Lee will tell you she made a darn good cuppa too! I have to say I was dubious about having a work experience student but Brianna has certainy changed my mind!
On Wednesday this week we had a lovely group of Patchworkers from the A and R Quilter's. The girls escaped before I could get a group photo.
Here is a photo of their current president Elsie who organised the trip.
Remember I talked about making a pentagon ball for my Grand daughter as she loves to throw balls.Well here is the ball I made using 1.5" pentagons. I added a rattle to the middle of the ball. She just loves to dance with it!
On Saturday we had the lovely Rhonda previously of Kawana Sewing centre come and talk about the Floriani range of products. Any excuse for a Morning Tea get together. The girls enjoyed not only catching up with Rhonda but also hearing her very informative talk about these products.
Keep on Stitching,
