Don't you just love BABOUSHKA DOLLS

Yes, I do have a bit of an addiction to Baboushka or Matroushka dolls. When I was 8 years old my Dad went on an overseas trip (he worked for CSIRO as a scientist) he brought me back a set which I have always loved.

So when I saw this one which you can stitch and make into a softie I just couldn't resist making a sample for the shop.

Here is the pic on the pack but I decided to enhance mine using th Colourque technique developed by Helen Stubbings.

Ah, but thats not all I have also nearly finished a sample of the Babushka Tree quilt

Don't you think they look cute in the pink and green. Hopefully it will be finished soon so i can get Fiona aka Quilting Fairy to quilt it for me.

Another I would love to make is the MATRYOSHKA quilt by Rosalie Quinlan.

Looks like there's lots of stitching ahead for me.
