Sue and I met years ago at a workshop with Bari Sue of Bareroots. Sue always says the link between us was made then! We are delighted to stock Sue's Designs from her Patchwork with Busy Fingers range.

AN EVENING with PATCHWORK with BUSY FINGERS

Last Wednesday my good friend Sue Daley came to the shop to share her patchworking journey with a group of about 22 very enthusiastic ladies. Now you will know Sue as the Queen on English paper piecing as she just constantly comes up with new ways to use this fun and simple hand piecing method. Have a look HERE at lots of her designs. But have a look at some of her quilts and be tempted to start your own project.

Here is Sue with a project showing her 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch hexagons which are now available as papers. We also have templates for the 1/2 inch. Gail who works with Sue made this project. Tempted yet?

Behind Sue is the Pies and Tarts Quilt. Playing with Paper pack 12 is also this design in a smaller option

I just love these hexagon diamonds. This one is done with 2" papers .

This one is Spring Garden. Great for 1930's prints.

This is Floral Lanterns but I do love this one in Reds. Or the starter pack here

Wellington a great masculine quilt. .

It Takes Two works well with a Jelly Roll.

This is Sue's version of a double wedding ring in which she uses her petal shaped papers.

This one is made using Playing with Paper pack 11

As you can see the girls were listening very carefully. Don't forgert about Sue's lovely needles too. We sold out of them on the night but have more in stock now.

Choose from size 9, 10 or 11.

All the Patchwork Angel Team just love this technique as you can take it with you on the go. I even stitch in the car when we go to visit our son Zac in Brisbane which is 1 hour away. I'm doing a Pies and Tarts in 1930's fabric. If there are any of the patterns shown you can't find we can of course get them but Sue is such a prolific designer I have trouble keeping up with her with the website!

Thanks Penny for sharing Sue's Trunkshow...pity I don't live just that little bit closer..lol..Sue's Quilts look Gorgeous and I didn't realise she had made so many...I am a fan of her papers and do have some projects waiting to be started...
