OUR ANGEL IS BACK

 

 We are really thrilled to see our angel back on the end of our building. During the development at around our church we lost our angel when the end room of the building was removed to make way for the carpark. The developer rebuilt a new room for us but we have been waiting and waiting for our angel to be restored.SHE IS BACK!

You can just see the back room in this shot. That is where our Fiona runs her quilting business "The Quilting Fairy".

We are heading off for an Australia Day picnic. We planned to meet at the Buderim Rainforest Park but it has been raining all night as it is the wet season here so, instead we are heading off to my friend Julie's at Palmwoods about 10 minutes away. Of course there wil be bubbles involved!

LYNETTE POPS IN

Lynette Anderson popped into the shop yesterday to drop off the sample for her yummy new design featuring Felix her cat " The Quit Shoppe". We are just waiting to get the patterns in but will put them on the website now so you can order and we will send them out as soon as they arrive. We already have the cute buttons in store.

Of course Lynette found some fabrics for her new project while in the store. So Hugo wouldn't feel left out we took the pic in front of Lynette's pattern Woof which was inspired by him.

It is now two and a half years since I took over the Patchwork Angel from Lynette and it is lovely that we are such good friends. After all we first met some 12 years ago when our boys now 20 played under 7's soccer together.

At the moment I am working on the new class list for term 1, 2009 and hope to have it out by the end of this week. Lots of exciting classes to look forward to.
